Rhodes Mezzanine Voted Best European Restaurant by BBC Good Food ME Awards

Rhodes Mezzanine, the modern British restaurant headed up by Michelin-starred celebrity chef Gary Rhodes OBE triumphed during the popular BBC Good Food ME Awards recently wining the ‘Best European Restaurant’ award.

The awards held recently in Dubai, saw 14 top chefs and restaurants from across the emirates recognised during a glittering gala dinner ceremony, in front of over 400 industry guests and attendees from BBC Good Food ME’s Food Club.

The BBC Good Food ME Awards recognise great quality food and culinary excellence through a transparent nomination and voting process. The restaurants were nominated and entered into the finals by popular vote, and from there a dual voting process took into account the votes of a panel of independent judges, as well as the consumer votes. Each restaurant and cafe that was shortlisted was also visited anonymously by the judging panel.

Rhodes Mezzanine offers diners a modern take on quintessentially British cuisine with a touch of French influence. Providing guests with a selection of outstanding dishes, it is perfect for those looking for a little indulgence. Mouth-watering main courses on offer include a feather light Fillet of John Dory, stir fried shiitake mushrooms, asparagus and scallops in addition to a Roast Fillet of Beef with a snail, garlic and parsley risotto.
